Holiday Assistance Program

The autumn and winter holidays are particularly difficult times for our clients. Each year during the month of October, WFCM receives requests for additional holiday assistance for both the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, and in turn we reach out to our community, requesting sponsors for these families.

If you would like to be a part of our 2013 Holiday Assistance Program by sponsoring one or more families, please contact Jennie Bush. We anticipate we will receive over 1,300 requests for holiday baskets again this year. We are extremely grateful to those who have already expressed an interest in helping this year. Please note:
  • You may sponsor one or more families for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas.
  • You can donate gift cards from a local grocery store. Gift cards can be dropped off at our Chantilly office Monday-Friday between 10am-2pm. No cash donations please.
Thank you to all who supported the 2012 Holiday Assistance Program. With your generous support, 1,319 were provided for...that's 614 individuals/families at Thanksgiving and 705 individuals/families at Christmas.
