Volunteers are essential to the mission of WFCM. The opportunities for volunteer service are varied;
group and individual projects, one-time projects, and scheduled on-going services are all available.

WFCM has an immediate need for volunteers to serve in a number of our ministries. 
If you have a few hours to spare on a weekly or monthly basis, we would love to hear from you!

The following are Board Committee volunteer positions. If you have the desire to help WFCM in one of these positions, please contact Pam Ryan.

Board Committee-related Volunteer Positions:

Grant Writer - Support the Development/Fundraising Committee in identifying grant opportunities and in preparing grant applications.

Fund Raiser - Support the Development/Fundraising Committee in developing and conducting fundraising activities in support of WFCM.

Financial Planner - Support the Development/Fundraising Committee in developing and implementing a planned giving strategy for WFCM.

News Writer - Support the Communications & Marketing Committee in preparing news releases and advertisements for WFCM and WFCM activities.

Graphics Planner - Support the Communications & Marketing Committee in enhancing the visual and Web site representation of WFCM.

Facilities Planner - Support the Programs & Facilities Committee in assessing facility and space alternatives to support  WFCM program execution and growth.

CAN YOU HELP?

WFCM CURRENT VOLUNTEER NEEDS 

WFCM is always looking for new volunteers, both individuals and groups, willing and able to help serve in our many ministries.  Whether you can make a weekly commitment or just spare a few hours each month, we have an opportunity for you!  Our most critical need right now is for volunteers who can commit to coming in for a few hours each week on a regular basis.  But if your schedule does not allow for that type of commitment, please know that we would be so grateful to have you come in whenever you can.  The areas where we currently have a critical need for volunteers are listed below:

Food Pantry

Mondays – 10:30 or 11:00am until 2:00pm
Tuesdays – 12:00 to 3:00pm
Wednesdays – 10:30 or 11:00am until 2:00pm
Thursdays – 12:00 to 3:00pm
Fridays – 10:30 or 11:00am until 2:00pm

Office / Front Desk

Mondays – 10:00 to 2:00pm and 5:30 to 7:30pm
Wednesdays – 10:00 to 2:00pm and 5:30 to 7:30pm

Thrift Store / Clothes Closet

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday – Cashiers needed 12:00 to 3:00pm
Monday through Friday – Afternoon volunteers needed 12:00 to 3:00pm
